Eneco eMobility and CutPower seal partnership for charging stations in Europe

Dutch energy company Eneco with its Rotterdam-based subsidiary Eneco eMobility B. V. and Hamburg-based sustainability investor CUT POWER AG agree on a strategic Europe-wide partnership in the growing eMobility market.

Strategic cooperation enhancing convenience of electric charging on European roads

Eneco eMobility B. V. and CUT POWER AG are to provide cutting-edge charging infrastructure in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany. The cooperation was announced at the E-WORLD 2020 trade fair in Essen. ‘Charging as a service’ will be offered to companies in the real estate and automotive sectors as well as to businesses with large fleets.

Increasing customer value by combining the strengths of the energy and investment sectors

By pooling their experience and expertise in the fields of eMobility, energy efficiency, real estate and investments, the two companies will jointly offer complete solutions for industries that are currently most affected by eMobility.

Bram Poeth, Chief Executive Officer of Eneco eMobility: “Electromobility is a booming market. By building on our expertise, as well as our implementation know-how, and backed by our partner’s investment power and superior market access, we can now expand the portfolio of products and services in our target markets. This will allow us to grow even faster, fully in line with our ambitions.”

Joining forces at attractive locations for unlimited eMobility

In addition to their ‘charging as a service’ solutions for companies, Eneco eMobility and CutPower intend to speed up the expansion of the emENSUS® charging station network to further improve accessibility of eMobility. The first emENSUS® charging stations are already operational in Germany: a comprehensive, ultra-fast and convenient cross-border network for electric cars of all vendors and mobility service providers.

Dr. Andreas Pfeiffer, Chief Commercial Officer at CutPower: “With Eneco eMobility, we have found an ambitious partner who fits perfectly with our portfolio and with whom we will grow even faster. Customers expect convenient, one-stop-shop services that simply work. We are able to meet customers’ needs through our joint excellent market and technology know-how and our willingness to invest in sustainable concepts, while jointly offering turnkey solutions.
