150 top decision makers from politics and economics met at the Investor Days in Brussels in February 2016 to debate about future standards for energy efficiency investments in real estate. The goal was to make investments in energy efficiency a natural part of institutional investors’ portfolios. Thanks to standardized protocols, it will from now on be considerably easier for banks and investors to launch projects in the fields of energy efficient real estate restorations.
As the leading infrastructure provider, CutPower was able to participate effectively at the conference: with his insightful lecture regarding the potentials of energy efficiency investments, CEO Karl Eberhard Hunke was able to raise a lot of applause.
The investor days are held under the auspices of many renowned institutions, such as the EEFIG (Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group), the conference hosts BPIE Building (Performance Institute Europe) and the ICP (Investor Confidence Project).
